Changing a Video Thumbnail

Users who upload their own videos can now choose and change the thumbnail image of their video themselves.

⚙️ How does it work?

• 🛠️ During video approval, the admin selects a default thumbnail that is displayed after publication (as before).
• 🔄 After the video is published, you can change the thumbnail yourself.
• 🎞️ You can choose from 100 automatically generated thumbnails taken directly from your video.
• ⏳ The thumbnail can only be changed within 90 days of the video being published.

👣 How to change a video thumbnail – step by step

• 👤 Go to your profile.
• 📁 Open the User Videos section.
• ▶️ Click on the video whose thumbnail you want to change.
• ✏️ After opening the video, click the “Edit” icon.
• 🖼️ Options for editing the video title and description will appear, as well as “Edit thumbnail”.
• 🎬 Select the desired thumbnail from the automatically generated images.
• 💾 Confirm the change by clicking “Save thumbnail”.
