Custom Video Thumbnail

Users who upload videos can now add their own custom thumbnail image. This feature is currently available only for monetized videos.

⚙️ How does it work?

🛠️ When selecting a video file, you can now also upload your own thumbnail image by clicking the "Select file" button in the "Custom thumbnail for this video" section.
👀 After uploading, a preview will be displayed showing how your video will look with the selected thumbnail.

⚠️ Custom thumbnail rules

The custom thumbnail must meet the following conditions:

🎞️ It must be relevant to the video and reflect its content.
👤 It must show people from the video (or be taken directly from the video).
🚫 It must not contain inappropriate content (e.g. minors, violence, animals, weapons, or drugs).
⚖️ It must not violate copyright or harm third parties.
🧼 It must not contain watermarks, ads, or graphic overlays.
🤖 It must not be generated using artificial intelligence.
❗ It must not be misleading or deceptive.

🚫 What happens if you upload a non-compliant thumbnail?

🔄 If your thumbnail does not comply with the rules, an administrator will select a different one from the automatically generated thumbnails.
