Na chodbě staré knihovny bylo ticho, které přerušovalo jen jemné klapání podpatků. Osmnáctiletá Julie si upravila kostkovanou sukni školní uniformy a s pobaveným úsměvem sledovala muže stojícího mezi regály. Byl výrazně starší než její spolužáci — klidný, elegantní a sebejistý. Přesně ten typ, který ji vždycky přitahoval.
„Zase jste tady?“ zeptal se s lehkým pousmáním, když si všiml, jak ho pozoruje.
Julie pokrčila rameny. „Možná chodím ráda tam, kde je zajímavá společnost.“
Muž zavřel knihu a opřel se o regál. „A neměla byste být spíš doma nad učebnicemi?“
Naklonila hlavu na stranu a udělala krok blíž. „Možná mě baví učit se jiné věci.“

The hallway of the old library was silent, broken only by the soft clicking of high heels. Eighteen-year-old Julie adjusted the plaid skirt of her school uniform and watched with an amused smile the man standing between the shelves. He was noticeably older than her classmates — calm, elegant and self-assured. Exactly the type she had always been attracted to.
"You're here again?" he asked with a slight smile, noticing her watching him.
Julie shrugged. "Maybe I like going where the company is interesting."
The man closed the book and leaned against the shelf. "Shouldn't you be at home studying?"
She tilted her head to the side and took a step closer. "Maybe I enjoy learning other things."
For a moment, tension hung between them, almost tangible in the air. Julie smiled in that mischievous way of hers, turned around and slowly walked away down the aisle. Before she disappeared around the corner, she glanced back over her shoulder.
"So tomorrow at the same time?"
