Maybe both, and maybe I’m not wrong about either. But the compass exists to guide you. Thanks to it, you know where the lighthouse is. Without a compass, you can lose motivation in the storm and give up more easily. With a compass, you can see how far you’ve strayed from your course in the storm.

My point of view is that with only a compass, you become someone without emotion.
Of course, it’s an anchor but every anchor has two sides.
It can show you direction, or it can hold you still, afraid to move.
You must not forget that passion is what truly matters in the end.
It’s dangerous, yes it can hurt you, yes but without it, you’re not really alive.

In the storm, you need a compass to keep your bearings and not lose yourself; the intensity may sweep you away, but it is in the gentle guidance of your own self that you discover what to carry forward when the silence comes

Perhaps the compass is not to guide,
but to remind you where you began.
In the storm you lose names, borders, even fear, yet what remains after the silence is not what you carried,
but what refused to drown.

A very extraordinary idea
A desire for fullness ungoverned by reason becomes a consuming fire, devouring the very essence of being. True fulfillment is not attained through ecstasy, but through measured balance through virtue, which alone imparts form and order to desire.

That is the scream from inside, calling for help,
and you slip into the flow
not thinking, not resisting,
just carried by something ancient and wordless.
Your mind burns clean,
your body becomes truth,
and for a moment, you are free not healed, not whole,
but real.
