This is a post dedicated to people which a simple "hello" is not enough

I have news for you. A straight "hello, how are you" is enough.

A greeting is not an indicator of one’s intelligence. Even if it was, we are in a web site with a common purpose : To satisfy our sexual needs. Some people are for the money too, but usually those people do not object to hellos.

When you greet someone, you acknowledge their presence. This is all about.

You don’t greet someone with the line “Hey RudeGirl007, did you know that the state of a quantum mechanical system is a vector ψ belonging to a separable complex Hilbert space H?” You definitely do not greet like “Hello RudeGirl007, Wittgenstein’s argument was that words have the propensity to adopt habits of usage which may in fact confuse the truth of things, and this is why philosophy has so often been led astray”.

Those examples are the equivalent of introducing yourself in a social setting by punching someone in the nose.

There are better ways to filter your acquaintances but asking them to approach you with something other than “jak se máš” shows some kind of insecurity in my humble opinion. It’s not a competition. Let people do what they know best from the beginning of humanity. Let them say hi.
